
Asst. Ph.D. Sven Maričić is a young scientist from Rijeka who arrived at Jurja Dobrila University two years ago. The reason for this was the introduction of a new study in production engineering at the Department of Technical Studies. Thanks to this scientist, Pula became the center of 3D technology in Croatia.
Maričić is a pioneer of 3D printing technology in the country and its application in biomedicine, he spends half of his teaching hours at the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka. There he runs the Center for Biomodeling and Innovations in Medicine. He spends the second half of his hours at the University of Pula, where he works as an assistant to the rector for new technologies.
