Had the privilege of growing into a Head of Technology in a family-owned 150+ souls strong high-tech land surveying company. Passion led me to a Lead Developer role in a Business Intelligence company specializing in Sports Betting clients. A few years later, a natural step forward was to start my own company and take on client projects. I managed to grow the team to 15 people, only to find out that I preferred being a solo expert.
Meanwhile, I was a guest lecturer at three Universities for years, was a Microsoft Certified Trainer, and a mentor at the Zagreb startup incubator. Over the years I delivered over 75 talks at various international events. After COVID I shifted my focus to the local community and now I organize and host the Above Clouds conferences, the Azure + dotNet meetup, and the Software Architects meetup in Zagreb, Croatia.
My passion lies in architecting and building cloud solutions with the least possible complexity and maintenance required. My tools of choice are Azure and C#.
After working with big, small and huge I found out that where there’s will, we can accomplish the desired outcome regardless of the amount of red-taping.
